Sandra is an experienced driver and instructor trainer with over 11 years experience in the industry.

Before moving into driver training she spent many years in sales and marketing selling everything from frozen chips to first aid courses, and mobile phones to advertisement space. She has worked for organisations such as The Confederation of British Industry, Thames Valley Business and St John Ambulance. Sandra often remarks that as a sales person she had no idea of the level of risk that she faced each day whilst driving. She is now passionate in her quest to help others reduce that risk.

Her extensive experience in the commercial world and the driver training industry enables Sandra to look at your operation from both sides. She has a practical and pragmatic approach to occupational road risk management that allows her to recommend simple amendments to policies and procedures that are effective in reducing road risk but have the minimum impact on operations. Since 1997, Sandra and her team at Driving Ambition have delivered and overseen training that not only improves driving technique but ensures that the delegate understands the benefits of employing those techniques. If a driver understands the personal benefits of a particular technique they are more likely to employ that technique after the trainer has left.

James Fear
Senior Instructor

James is a highly qualified instructor with three years experience. James oversees our driving school as well as delivering fleet and advanced driver training. He is able to adapt his teaching style to win over the most difficult of qualified drivers to the most nervous of learners. His calm, quiet manner puts the most anxious of pupils at their ease. James has a proven ability to coach drivers at all levels. Since qualifying as an instructor he has continued to expand his skills and knowledge and now boasts the following credentials:
